Hi, I'm Erica, the Operations Leader at Upstate Curious. I have over 15 years of operations experience in the tech, media, and finance sectors. My recent move from NYC's hustle to the serene heart of the Catskills has not only enriched my life but also sharpened my focus on innovative and sustainable operations.
During an 11-year tenure at Bloomberg, I developed a deep passion for operations and innovation. I played a pivotal role in streamlining processes and nurturing a culture of inclusion, ultimately serving as Director of Operations for the Media Group. I then embraced the startup world, first as Director of People Operations at Hire Runner and most recently as VP of Operations at Apps Without Code, where I specialized in refining business operations and enhancing the employee experience. My commitment to operational excellence and people-first leadership has always guided my career.
I now call the Western Catskills (discovered with the help of Upstate Curious) my home. Alongside my partner, our cats Freja and Mildred, and a bunch of chickens, I'm often found in the garden, volunteering, or engaging with our vibrant local community. This blend of personal passions and professional skills underscores my approach to life and work.
